Our commitments

Sustainable & responsible food
At Worldwide Festival, we see food as a key pillar of our eco-responsible approach. We've implemented a sustainable catering charter for our food vendors, built around several core commitments: Use of local, environmentally friendly, and certified products A diverse and high-quality culinary offering Fighting against food waste Waste management and proper infrastructure Our team works closely with vendors before, during, and after the event to ensure these sustainable practices are upheld. We firmly believe that responsible catering not only helps preserve the environment but also enhances the festival experience—making it more authentic and aligned with our values of sustainability and respect.

Risk prevention
The health of our audiences and teams is a top priority. Since 2015, the Caarud Axess Pole Festif Association has been present with a prevention stand staffed by outreach workers, offering information and free resources (earplugs, condoms, breathalyzers, etc.). These materials are available across all festival sites — feel free to stop by and connect with them. The festival is currently in the process of obtaining the Label et la Fête certification, a regional label in Occitanie that promotes health and well-being in festive settings, led by Octopus and Act Up Sud-Ouest. Through this initiative, the festival is committed to implementing various awareness and prevention actions for both its audiences and staff.

Environmental protection
of the Lido
In Sète, as throughout the Thau Basin, the unique geography offers a rich natural heritage, with natural environments shaping both the landscape and the space. At the crossroads of land and sea, these areas serve as vital reservoirs of biodiversity. Today, however, they face increasing pressures to which they are often vulnerable. The Worldwide Festival is committed to protecting these fragile natural environments by implementing the following measures: Cigarette collection on all festival sites Signage and awareness campaigns for dune protection Signage and awareness campaigns for marine protection

Reduced mobility access
Because everyone deserves to enjoy and share festive, welcoming moments, and because building an inclusive festival means considering the entire chain of cultural accessibility: All of our venues are accessible to people with disabilities. Our shuttle buses are also wheelchair accessible. Reserved parking spaces are available through the Tourist Office: +33 4 86 84 04 04 At the Théâtre de la Mer, we provide personalized assistance and a raised platform to ensure comfort and optimal visibility.

Transport & mobility
Did you know? According to a 2024 study by Le Collectif des Festivals Écoresponsables et Solidaires, “80% of a festival’s carbon footprint comes from audience and staff travel.” This makes transportation to and from the festival a key factor in reducing overall carbon emissions. As part of our commitment to ecological transition and corporate social responsibility, we recognize the significant environmental impact of travel—and our duty to minimize it as much as possible. At Worldwide Festival, we are committed to promoting sustainable mobility solutions. To reduce your carbon footprint when coming to the festival, we strongly encourage the use of low-impact transportation: Train Carpooling Public transport To help you move around locally, we recommend: The Sète Agglopôle Mobilité and Keolis bus services, which connect all festival venues, day and night Cycling Walking And to take it a step further, we invite every festival participant to calculate their travel-related carbon emissions using the tool provided by ADEME (France’s ecological transition agency): "Calculate the CO₂ emissions of your trip."

GBSV Awareness
At Worldwide Festival, we are firmly committed to combating all forms of gender-based and sexual violence (GBSV). These acts, which violate fundamental rights and compromise physical and psychological integrity, include any unwanted sexual behavior, remarks, or sexist conduct. Our team has implemented a comprehensive internal reporting protocol, developed in collaboration with the Centre National de la Musique. This includes the appointment of a dedicated contact person, a thorough investigation procedure, and support measures for those affected. This approach is part of our broader commitment to creating a safe and respectful environment for both our staff and festivalgoers. Currently undergoing certification for the "Label et la Fête", led by Octopus and Act Up Sud-Est, we actively promote a responsible and inclusive festival culture—where everyone can fully enjoy the music experience in safety. We invite you to report any incident to clearly identified staff members on site—your well-being is our priority.
