He came in 2017 and delivered a majestic set, navigating through all the sounds that shaped and influenced him: jazz, funk, and of course bass music.
Boss of the Metalheadz label, Goldie first made his mark as one of the most creative artists on the 80s UK graffiti scene. After a stint in the States, we find him back in '91 alongside DJ Storm and Dego & Marc Mac (4Hero). In '92, his track "Terminator" drops like a bomb on the jungle scene, and with his album "Timeless" in '95, it's total consecration.
For this opening night celebrating 20 years of Worldwide Festival at Théâtre De La Mer, Mr Clifford Joseph Brown aka Goldie will be backed by his live band, two drummers, a bassist (Drum'n'Bass style), unleashing wild energy on stage that does complete justice to the productions of the Terminator-in-chief.
