Souleance is the powerhouse pairing of talented producer Fulgeance and DJ Soulist, our very own "funky president". Fulgeance, multi-faceted artist and boss of Musique Large label, has made his mark with devastating beats and groovy electronic hip-hop. Soulist, creator of the Parisian What The Funk parties, obsessively blends disco, soul, funk, hip-hop, and house. Together, they form an unapologetic project inspired by Black music: hip-hop, soul, tropical sounds, afro disco, and boogie.

Playlisted by Gilles Peterson, Laurent Garnier, and Lefto, they've toured from Singapore's Zouk to Worldwide Festival in Sète. Their albums "La Belle Vie", "La Beat Tape", and "Beautiful" (2023) have received warm international acclaim. Their new EP "KEBAB DISCOTHEQUE" with Turkish-funk and Balearic disco influences drops in May 2025 on Heavenly Sweetness. At the beginning of 2026, their EP "Movin'On / Keepin'On" arrives with a modern soul anthem infused with powerful gospel energy, already championed by Gilles Peterson among others. We've become friends since their first time in Sète, and we love them just as much for their sense of humor and their love of good music.
